The Knauf Acoustic Insulation range of insulations from insulation4less.co.uk is provided with a thermal conductivity of 0.040W/mK. of thickness. The insulants are classified as Euroclass A1 to BS EN 13501-1. The insulants have an exceptional acoustic absorption property and are manufactured with the minimum density of 10kg/m3 for a perfect compliance which is provided with relevant sound insulation regulations. The Knauf Acoustic Insulation range of insulations are multi-purpose, non-combustible, flexible and made up of glass mineral wool roll which is particularly designed for friction fitting installations. The insulations in this range are majorly used in the acoustic and thermal insulation of wide array of constructions which include pitched roof at the ceiling level encompassing lofty insulations, internal partitions or internal floors and timber floors. The Earthwool OmniFit Roll is manufactured according to BS EN ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems, BS EN 13162, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems as per the certification by the Bureau Veritas.

These are highly durable. They are odorless, non-hygroscopic, rot proof and do not contain vermin which might encourage the growth of fungi, bacteria and mould. These offer minimum resistance to the passage of vapor with a resistivity of 5.00MNs/gm.

The insulations are easy to handle and to install. These can be easily cut to size and are lightweight. They are supplied with polythene packs designed only for short-term protection. However, it comes with one indication of not to be left exposed permanently to elements.

The insulants in this range are exceptionally efficient and last as long as the lifetime of the building providing the perfect insulation. They are devoid of CFCs and HCFCs which make them eco-friendly. They have zero potential and contribution towards the ozone layer and global warming.
